Application / Usage / Function

Gibberellic Acid have the function of promoting stem elongation, inducing long-day plants to bolt and flower under short-day conditions, breaking dormancy, promoting fruit setting and parthenocarpy, and accelerating cell division and differentiation. The most significant effect of GA3 is to promote tissue growth, increase plant height significantly, and have a particularly obvious elongation effect on some genetic dwarf plants. Gibberellic Acid can replace red light to stimulate the germination of dormant seeds (green beans, lettuce, etc.); it can induce the synthesis of α-amylase and hydrolyze starch into sugar. In low temperature and weak light, it can break the dormancy of forage grass; in summer, it can promote the growth of sugarcane under drought or low temperature; in early spring, under low temperature, it can promote early germination and rapid emergence of peas and kidney beans.
