What is aluminium phosphide used for?

Aluminum phosphide is used as a fumigant to protect stored grain from insects and rodents. In the presence of moisture, aluminum phosphide releases phosphine, which is highly toxic.

How does abamectin work?

Take the 56% preparation as an example:

1. 3~8 slices per ton of stored grain or goods, 2~5 slices per cubic meter of stocking or goods, 1-4 slices per cubic meter of fumigation space.

2. After the steaming is completed, open the curtain or plastic film, open the doors and windows or ventilation gates, and adopt natural or mechanical ventilation to fully disperse the air and remove the poisonous gas.

3. When entering the warehouse, use a test paper impregnated with 5% to 10% silver nitrate solution to check for poisonous gas, and enter only when there is no phosphine gas.

4. The fumigation time depends on the temperature and humidity. Below 5℃, fumigation is not suitable, 5℃~9℃ not less than 14 days; 10℃~16℃ not less than 7 days, 16℃~25℃ not less than 4 days, above 25℃, no less than 3 days. Smoke and kill voles, 1 to 2 pieces per mouse hole.
