It can inhibit elongation of plant cells and internode, inhibit the wild growth of stems and leaves, control side branches, shape ideal plant types, increase root number and vigor, increase fruit weight and improve quality.

Mepiquat chloride can promote plant development, early flowering, prevent shedding, increase yield, enhance chlorophyll synthesis, and inhibit the elongation of main stems and fruit branches. It is widely used in crops such as cotton, wheat, rice, peanuts, corn, potatoes, grapes, vegetables, beans, flowers and so on.

When used in cotton, Mepiquat chloride can effectively prevent cotton from growing wildly, control plant compactness, reduce boll fall out, promote maturity, and increase cotton production.
