How does bifenthrin work?

Bifenthrin is a broad-spectrum insecticide that works by interfering with a nerve cell's ability to send a normal signal by jamming open tiny gates on the cell that need to open and close rapidly to carry the message. Bifenthrin is used in agriculture and residential settings, both indoors and outdoors.

What insects does bifenthrin kill?

On a large scale, bifenthrin is often used against invasive red fire ants. It is also effective against aphids, worms, other ants, gnats, moths, beetles, earwigs, grasshoppers, mites, midges, spiders, ticks, yellow jackets, maggots, thrips, caterpillars, flies, fleas, spotted lanternflies and termites.

How long does it take bifenthrin to work?

Answer: Bifenthrin is not a contact kill product, it is a residual product that can take a few day to start killing the fleas or other insects that you are treating for. You need to give the product time to do what its designed for. If the infestation of fleas is extensive then you may treat again after 7-14 days.

What is bifenthrin used for?

Share: Bifenthrin is an excellent product for control of the toughest of pests. The product can be applied on many sites including buildings, athletic fields, lawns and ornamentals. Is also labeled for control of carpenter ants, termites, and other structural pests.
